DAK Group Client VGS has acquired ImageLife Architectural Signage

DAK Group Advises Visual Graphic Systems on Acquisition of ImageLife

Ridgewood, NJ – DAK Group, a leading investment bank specializing in middle-market mergers and acquisitions, announced that its client, Visual Graphic Systems, Inc. (“VGS”) of Carlstadt, NJ, has completed the acquisition of ImageLife, LLC (“ImageLife”).

DAK Group served as exclusive financial advisor to VGS on the acquisition, assisting the company in evaluating the strategic opportunity, structuring, and negotiating the transaction, and managing the acquisition process through closing.

VGS is a fully integrated visual communications, design, and manufacturing company that has served national clients across twelve vertical markets for decades. ImageLife is a boutique architectural signage manufacturer and turnkey provider specializing in custom, highly complex signage, based in Nashville.

The acquisition expands VGS’s geographic presence into the Southeast market and adds an established local manufacturing operation with strong customer relationships and complementary capabilities. ImageLife will become part of VGS’s broader platform, providing additional resources and capabilities to support existing customers while creating opportunities to accelerate growth in Nashville and the surrounding region.

ImageLife represents an excellent strategic fit for VGS and is a great example of the type of acquisition that can create value well beyond the initial transaction,” said Derek Zacarias, Director at DAK Group. “The combination gives ImageLife access to VGS’s broader capabilities and resources while providing VGS with an established presence in an attractive and growing market. We are excited for VGS and the partnership they are building with the Nashville team, and believe the combination creates a strong foundation for continued growth.”

The DAK Group deal team was led by Derek Zacarias, Director, with support from Jesse Del Buono, Associate, and Cecilia Zhou, Senior Analyst.
