Chief Marketing Officer
Joan McGeough is the Chief Marketing Officer at DAK. She has over 20 years of experience working with mid-market, privately held companies, global corporations and professional services firms. Ms. McGeough offers DAK clients the benefit of her background in market analysis, strategic positioning, and insight into a wide range of industry sectors including manufacturing, printing, media, and law & accounting firms as well as other business services.
She was named a Top 25 Leading Women Brand Builder in 2017, by Leading Women Entrepreneurs (LWE).
Prior to joining DAK, Ms. McGeough was the Managing Director of a marketing consulting firm which she founded and led for over ten years. During that time, she helped numerous clients successfully grow their business by strategically integrating the marketing mix to generate results. Ms. McGeough’s earlier career included marketing executive positions at a number of companies such as InfoUSA and All State International.
She received her MBA and a Certificate in International Business from the Paul Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University, and her undergraduate degree from Montclair State University.
She is a co-founder and Chairperson of the NJ Chapter of MENG – Marketing Executives Networking Group, a national organization for C-Level marketing executives where she has also held national board positions. She was a recent judge for the Annual Entrepreneurs Business Plan Competition at Temple University’s Fox School of Business, and a three time judge for the IRIS Awards for NJ IABC (International Association of Business Communicators).
