DAK Announces Sale of Adtech Systems to AVI-SPL

Rochelle Park, NJ – DAK, a leading investment bank specializing in middle-market mergers and acquisitions worldwide, is pleased to announce that its client Adtech Systems has been sold to AVI-SPL, a global provider of digital enablement solutions headquartered in Tampa, Florida with 60 offices worldwide.

DAK served as the exclusive investment banker and financial advisor to Adtech Systems, initiating and managing the entire transaction process.

Adtech Systems is a leading New England-based visual collaboration solutions company that provides enterprise-grade managed and professional services, technology solutions, and proactive support for video collaboration, integrated workspaces, and digital signage deployments to enterprise users on a national and global basis. Adtech has a rich, 30+ year history of continuously optimizing communications and collaboration solutions for the modern workplace and delivering  high level customer satisfaction in the New England area.

Leveraging its deep expertise and relationships within the ProAV and broader workplace technology ecosystem, DAK created a competitive process, identifying a number of potential, high-quality financial and strategic acquirers for Adtech. AVI-SPL, backed by Marlin Equity Partners, emerged as the ideal partner to join forces with, bringing more solutions to existing clients and providing the infrastructure to scale services to meet a broader audience.

“Adtech Systems’ services-centric approach and enterprise client base is a natural fit for AVI-SPL. As a leader in the New England market, the combination of Adtech’s focus on operational excellence and trusted reputation will continue to drive impressive performance and results. We are excited to watch the continued growth and success of the business under AVI-SPL ownership,” stated Ari Fuchs, Managing Director, who led the deal team along with Melvyn Peters, Director and Mark LaVilla, Senior Analyst.

This acquisition provides Adtech customers with a comprehensive suite of IT-related services that will support and enhance the full lifecycle of unified communications, collaboration, and experience technology solutions while significantly enhancing AVI-SPL’s presence in the New England market.
