Ducommun Incorporated (AMEX/PSE:DCO) today announced that it has acquired the assets and has assumed certain liabilities of MechTronics of Arizona, Inc., a privately-held company located in Phoenix, Arizona. MechTronics provides complex mechanical and high-reliability electromechanical manufacturing and sub-system integration primarily for the aerospace and defense industries.

The business will be operated as a newly formed Ducommun subsidiary, MechTronics of Arizona Corp., whose operations will remain in Phoenix. The management team, including the President, Michael J. DeMuro, will remain with the company.

Founded in 1849, Ducommun Incorporated manufacturers components and assemblies for the aerospace and wireless telecommunications industries.

The DAK Group, Ltd., represented MechTronics of Arizona, Inc. and initiated this transaction. DAK is a merger and acquisition firm, specializing in the middle-market, and is located in Rochelle Park, New Jersey.
