Rochelle Park, NJ - The DAK Group, Ltd. announced the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Greene Uniform Company of Hackensack, New Jersey, a company manufacturing and distributing parochial and public school uniforms, by Flynn & O'Hara Uniforms, Inc. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Greene Uniform, in operation since 1956, had been the leading supplier and manufacturer of parochial and public school uniforms serving the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut tri-state area. Flynn & O'Hara, founded in 1972, has become one of the largest suppliers of school uniforms in the United States by providing the broadest range of products, the best quality garments, and the timeliest delivery. Arnold Greene, Chief Executive Officer of Greene Uniform, stated that "It was a great challenge to identify a purchaser who would continue our 50 year tradition of quality and service. The DAK Group Ltd., located in Rochelle Park, New Jersey acted as financial advisor for Greene Uniform and initiated this transaction. Kenneth R.
