Sandy Batkin, a successful entrepreneur, built a family business into a major force within the packaging industry. In 1999, with the aid of The DAK Group, he sold the business to a public company and remained on as a consultant until joining DAK.
Mr. Batkins experience from selling his own company and his packaging industry expertise will serve as a basis for advising other prospective clients of DAK.
Mr. Batkin is active in many philanthropic endeavors that include the Executive Committee of the Friends of Israel Museum, Honorary Chairman of the Friends of David Yellin College of Education, the Board of Overseers of Jewish Theological Seminary, and the Board of Technology Ventures Incubators at Stephens Institute of Technology among many others.
Mr. Batkin is a decorated veteran. He rose from Private to 1st Lieutenant and served in the 20th Air Force in the Pacific campaign.
